About / Who's behind this

I'm Xiaoba,
one person delivering full-stack.

Ten years — the first half building products and trading systems, the second learning to let AI give me a hand, so one person could still put out a team's worth of work.

Everything from that decade — what worked, what died, what's still running — sits in the public archive.

It's there so you can judge it yourself, good and bad both — your call, not my sales pitch.

How one person does it

What AI does, what I keep

Handed to AI

  • DraftingFirst drafts of code, tests and docs are mostly AI's — I rarely start from a blank page.
  • CheckingWhich test broke, where a comparison drifted — AI catches it more reliably than I would staring at it myself.
  • RepeatingBuilds, deploys, regressions — the kind of repeat work where memory eventually slips, so I just hand it over.

What I keep

  • DecidingWhich approach, what to cut, whether to ship — I don't hand these to AI. If it goes wrong, that's on me.
  • AcceptingAI saying it's done doesn't make it done. It's done when I've checked it and nodded.
  • AccessAccounts, keys, payments — I hold onto those myself. I don't hand out the keys just to save myself the trouble.

The proof is this site

I built it alone, and how I work is public, so you can check it yourself:

  • Every important decision is a written record: why this, and what was rejected.
  • If the docs and the code disagree, a check script fails and the commit can't go through.
  • Every page is compared with its design, item by item, and a mismatch gets sent back to fix.
  • Every change has to clear the automated tests before it counts as done.

My limits

Said up front, so nobody is surprised
  • At most 3 projects in parallelBooked up is booked up. I'll say so straight, not squeeze you in.
  • Delivered within three monthsThree months is a line I've drawn for myself, not a target I'm hoping to hit.
  • Not a fit? I'll say soEven if it doesn't lead to work together, the diagnosis is still yours to keep — those 40 minutes aren't wasted.
